Cutting through the noise
We arrived eager for a great experience but faced a few challenges. The pool wasn't operational during our winter visit, a letdown. Fortunately, staff members like Carlos, Nizar, and Dandis turned our mood around. Rooms felt dated, and the carpets need attention. Breakfast was decent but could be improved.

Relaxing and clean hotel, the staff is patient. The rooms with mini fridge and Tea/Coffee making facilities and Television. A lot of options, good food. Quiet and excellent location, easy walk to everywhere. Honestly no complaints.

Quiet and great location to the strip mall at night with views of Jerusalem hills. Also - right by a residential area as well as fast food places.
Very small bathroom.

The price was good.
The hotel previously was named the Shalom. All signs on the road say the Shalom Hotel. Nothing on the confirmation we received told us that was the former name of the hotel. The staff was not helpful when we called and it took us a long time to locate the hotel. The hotel information that we received said it was recently remodeled. It hasn't been remodeled in a long, long time. Hallways and rooms were shabby. Public areas looked better.

The room was a nice size and having a coffee table, a kettle, and a chair in it was convenient. The beds were nice, like a cloud. The hotel location was peaceful in a quiet neighborhood.

This place is good, and has reliable wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a seasonal outdoor pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me find great places to eat, which I still appreciate. I highly recommend it for a city trip.

We enjoyed the mountain view and locartion of the hotel which overlooked the city of Jerusalem. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with a large variety of choice. The meeting rooms on the 2nd floor gave our group good options of space for our evening fellowship meetings. And the bar in the reception is pleasant.
Some of the rooms have some damp on the walls. The carpet in the rooms are a little worn, obviously to do with the age of the hotel. It would have been nice to have drinks, even just juices, included in the price of the evening meals instead of having to purchase them separately from the trolley.

Had a lovely time here with the family! The spacious rooms were perfect for relaxing, and we enjoyed spending time at the lovely garden area and the lobby with its cozy seating. Just a heads up, the elevator could be a bit slow during busy times, but it didn’t spoil our stay! 😊
